Creating an Express Entry Profile:


Aspirants must establish an online profile on the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website. This profile should include details about your professional background, educational qualifications, and skills. Your profile will be assessed, and you will receive a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS):

The CRS awards points to candidates based on various criteria such as age, education, professional experience, language skills, and adaptability. Candidates are ranked in the Express Entry pool according to their CRS scores.

Express Entry Draws:

The IRCC periodically conducts draws from the pool of candidates, selecting those with the highest CRS scores. The number of points required for selection varies in each draw, depending on Canada's immigration targets.

Invitations to Apply (ITAs):

Receiving an ITA means you have 60 days to submit a comprehensive application for permanent residency, inclusive of all necessary documents and fees.

Application for Permanent Residency:


Following receipt of an ITA and submission of your application, the IRCC reviews your eligibility, performs background checks, and requests medical exams and police clearances. Successful candidates receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and a permanent resident visa. Arrival in Canada:


With your COPR and permanent resident visa, you can travel to Canada and establish permanent residency. These documents must be presented to an immigration officer upon arrival.
